Silence is golden. Duck tape is silver.
There are infinite uses for duct tape. You can make wallets, bracelets and other items of clothing. Patch holes in fabric like car seats. My dad used duct tape to fix the canopy legs they would use at the beach. The discovery channel Show Myth Busters featured duct tape showing the capabilities of duct tape. They built a man bridge, a barrier and hoisted a car with it.
Tape a child to chair to get them to stay still. Just kidding. Take cardboard and duct tape to make a wallet. My son loved it 8 years ago. Take wires and make neat and tape together to keep them neat. Take the bind of a book to hold together. I have used duct tape to cover a small window on front door and leave a small area open to be able to peek out to see who is knocking. Tape together paper to make a drawing book for kids to draw on. Oh, one more.....tape the bottom of a shoe on that is falling off or to cover a hole in the bottom. My son did that last year. Was too funny!!!
My two daughters (13 and 10) saw a video on YouTube about a girl made a dress from Duct Tape and decided to give it a try. They aren't quite there in terms of clothing, but they have made wallets, purses, hair bows and even flip flops!
There are two simple rules in the universe:
1) If it moves and shouldn't, use duct tape.
2) If it should move and doesn't, use WD-40.
My 10 year old daughter Lindsay made a striking pair of zebra-print mules out of duct tape. Christian Laboutin eat your heart out!
